The Shadow Business Secretary tells CPAC UK that making Britain rich again means unburdening wealth creators and reversing decades of anti-enterprise policy.
Shadow Secretary of State for Business and Trade Andrew Griffith opened a core economic thread at CPAC Great Britain with a blunt diagnosis: Britain abandoned free enterprise, and the country is paying the price.
Griffith called for an "enterprise revolution" to unburden those who create wealth and reverse policy mistakes that piled regulation, tax, and quango complexity onto businesses. He framed the choice as one between common-sense growth and a Labour employment-law agenda he argued would further choke the private sector.
“If we want to make Britain rich, again, we need an enterprise revolution. We need to unburden those that create wealth.”
